Beatrice Sherrill's Obituary
Beatrice Barker Sherrill, 93, of Huntersville, died July 11, 2016 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House. She was born in Lincoln County on September 26, 1922 to the late John and Laura Barker. She worked in accounts payable for Belk Department Store and is a long time member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Bostic and husband Douglas of Huntersville; sisters, Barbara Rumple (Richard) of Iron Station and Pauline Jones of Mt. Holly; grandson, Jonathan (Jan) and great-grandchildren, Zion and Judah. She is preceded in death by her husband Harley Sherrill.
Memorials may be made to the Levine and Dickson Hospice House or Hospice of Lake Norman.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at James Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 13. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday at Hopewell Presbyterian Church with Rev. Alan Purtill and Rev. Vern Dodd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
