Benjamin "Frank" Sparks' Obituary
Mr. Benjamin “Frank” Sparks, 93, of Cornelius, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016.
Frank was a native of Haddon Heights, NJ, the son of Madeline DeWilliams and Frank Sparks. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. He was an accomplished soldier earning many accolades. Frank was the retired owner of Appliance Operating. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Emma Ann Sparks.
Frank enjoyed boating, walking, golfing, reading, and watching football, especially Peyton Manning. He attended St. Mark Catholic Church.
Mr. Sparks is survived by his children, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 14 at James Funeral Home of Huntersville. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15 at St. Mark Catholic Church. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
