Beth Mullis' Obituary
Mrs. Beth Mullis, 84, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 in the care of loved ones.
Beth was born and raised in Whitmire, SC. Upon graduating High School, Beth moved to the big city of Charlotte, NC to attend Kings Business School. She began her lifetime career at E.J. Smith and Sons while attending college and retired after 47 years of service within the same family business in 2007.
She was an active Member of Oak Grove Methodist church in Charlotte. She was an avid baker for many and all, always making sure those she loved received their favorite sweets. She was well known for her home cooked meals, often feeding others in her community. Her most cherished pastime was spending time with and boasting to anyone and all about her grandchildren.
Beth was preceeded in death by her parents Ray and Ruth Dillard and her son Ray Mullis.
Surviving loved ones are her daughter Carol Rasar, T.J. Rasar, and Savannah Rasar, all from Sherrills Ford, NC. Also three nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Oak Grove Church in Charlotte, NC. Receiving of friends will be at 12:00, service at 1:00, burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Grove Methodist Church at 6440 Old Statesville Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269.
