Dear Richardson & Casey family… I am so very sorry to learn of your loss of Bettie.
Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. Jesus promised us a wonderful resurrection of the dead at John 5:28,29 & 1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14, so we have the hope of being reunited with our deceased loved ones. A chance to see Bettie smiling, traveling, sewing, and cooking again. In the meantime, even though the pain of loss through death may seem insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength that you need to endure the coming months (Psalm 46:1).

I first met Bettie some years ago as a client at H & R Block. We immediately hit it off and discovered each other's love of gardening. She invited me to see her garden on South St. What a talent! Beautiful!! And of course she had Wags to come invite the fish to the side of her pond. Wags is great. She later moved to the Pines where my mother lives and wasted not a moment of beautifying her yard at her cottage.
Also, while my client, she took me for a ride in her electric car which she bought before there was a tax credit for one. She was way ahead of her time.
I was sorry to learn of Bettie's passing. She was quite a beautiful woman in many ways. I am lucky to have met her.
Best Regards,
Janet Hargrove
