Betty Allen's Obituary
Betty Allen, age 92, was born in Mecklenburg County to Paul Faust and Vanessa Williams. Better known as “Grandma Betty,” she loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and hosting family and friends at her home. She worked as an accountant for many years. She will always be remembered for her kindness and support for everyone.
Betty was an active member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and Madeline Tyson Covenant Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Allen; daughter, Vanessa Turner; and brother, Paul Faust.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Trena McClure (Ray), grandchildren, Tina Matlock (Alan), Jeremiah Shelton (Melissa), Dustin McClure (Rachael) and Jennifer Costanzo (Drew) as well as ten great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
