Betty Lou Love Alexander's Obituary
Betty Lou Love Alexander of Sherrill’s Ford, North Carolina passed peacefully after a brief illness on February 18, 2020. She was born on March 26, 1942 to Harry E Love and Annie J Burns Love. She was a woman of God, who loved her Lord and her family. She worked for Burlington Mills, Matsushita and Home Depot. She was a Girl Scout leader, a North Mecklenburg High band parent, and a prize knitter. She loved flowers, birds, and the beach.
She is survived by her husband, Louis G Alexander, whom she loved so very much. She is survived by her four daughters Angelia LaMoure Alden (Paul), Debora LaMoure Giordano (Chris), Elicia LaMoure Wright (DeWayne), and Francina LaMoure Finegan (Mike) who celebrate her joyous homegoing to be with her Father in heaven. She is also survived by her stepdaughters Crystal Aubrey (Wetzel) and Virginia Newton (Terry). Lynn Goforth Dugan, Jackie Goforth Herring, April Hager Howard, and Clif Hager were her children in her heart. She is survived by her sister at heart, Dianne Hager. She was blessed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Harry Burns, Eugene Love and Phons Love. She is also preceded by her step-son John Alexander and her great grand-daughter, Rosalie Kerns.
A grateful thank you is offered to the Novant Huntersville hospital staff and Hospice team. Their loving care and guidance was a blessing to our family.
A memorial service will be held at James Funeral Home on Saturday, February 22, at 11am. A reception with the family will immediately follow.
