Betty Stillwell's Obituary
Betty Andrew Stillwell went to sleep in Jesus on November 19, 2023, at the age of 90. Betty was born on August 22, 1933, to Eliza and Anthony Stillwell. She was the youngest of eleven children.
Betty spent her childhood on the family farm in Huntersville, NC. She loved living in the country with all of her pets. She attended Mt. Pisgah Academy where she made lifelong friends. She returned to her family home and had a career in accounting with the City of Charlotte. In 2001, she and her sister, Lillian, moved to Statesville, NC. They both attended the Statesville Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Betty has loved and served the Lord all of her life. She was a kind and thoughtful person who enjoyed helping others. She especially loved filling her shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse. Her boxes were running over! She would always include a note telling the children about the love that Jesus has for them. She was a wonderful mother, sister and friend.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Delisa Campbell and her husband, Tim Campbell; sister, Lillian Stillwell; nieces, Vickie Doster, Debbie Swanson, Carla Stillwell, Lucy Mull; and nephews, Rahn Shaw, Derwin Shaw, Mike Mull, Steve Stillwell and Gary Stillwell.
Honoring Betty's wishes, there will be a graveside service on Friday, November 24, 1:00 PM at Gilead ARP Church Cemetery in Huntersville.
