Beverly Propst LaBerdia's Obituary
Beverly (Propst) LaBerdia, 75, of Denver, NC passed away peacefully in hospice Tuesday, December 12, 2023. She was born on March 18, 1948, in Peoria, IL to the late John and Mary Propst.
Beverly worked in the music and entertainment industry for many years in California and shared many stories of her encounters and friendships with celebrities including Rod Stewart, Gene Simmons and Burt Ward (Batman and Robin). She also appeared on television games shows The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune and Hollywood Squares. Beverly also enjoyed spending time with her chihuahuas, watching movies and baking.
In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Propst. She is survived by her two children, Dena (Jeffrey) Adams of York, SC and Darrin LaBerdia of Matthews, NC; grandchildren, Acacia, Guthrie, Savannah and Olivia; siblings, Sharon (Larry) Pentecost, Marilee (Dan) Wood, Susan Legel, Tammy (Steve) Dunham, and Dennis Propst, all residing in Illinois; and previous husband William LaBerdia.
A small family and friends gathering will take place in Beverly’s honor. Those contacted are invited to “Come on Down!” (As Bob Barker would say) and bring 27 packages of Trident gum.
