Billy Cook's Obituary
Billy Austin Cook, Jr., 83, of Cornelius, NC and Ruby, SC, died December 24, 2024. He was born on August 6, 1941 in Iredell County.
We worked as a truck driver and was a teamster in his younger years. His hobbies were rebuilding classic cars and motorcycles. After retirement, he enjoyed working on tractors and enjoyed spending time relaxing on his farm in Ruby, SC.
Survivors include his son, Billy Austin Cook, III; daughter, Gina Cook; granddaughter, Kristin; and great-grandchildren, Zelda, Charlie, Lilly and Zoe; and cousin Beth Blackwell.
He is preceded in death by his wife Helen "Honey" Cook and mother, Vernie Donaldson Cook.
A private graveside will be held at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
