Blanche Nance's Obituary
Blanche E. Green McArn Nance, of Davidson, passed away on Aug. 27, 2015 at Olde Knox Commons, Huntersville, NC.
She was born May 14, 1922 in Litchfield, Minn. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Green and Lenore McCreery Green. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James F. Nance and her son Bill McArn.
Mrs. Nance was a member of Ramah Presbyterian Church of Huntersville. She retired from Troutman Industries in Mooresville, NC. She enjoyed going to the beach, traveling, reading, feeding and watching wild birds.
Survivors include son Jerry McArn and wife, Elaine of Davidson, NC. Stepchildren, Mary L Atwell, (Doddle), Sid Nance, Frank Nance and wife Phyllis, all of Huntersville, NC and Judy Rogers and husband Boyd of Davidson. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, and 4 step great, great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ron Beamon and Dr. Ron Uszenski for their many years of care. The family would also like to thank everyone at Olde Knox Commons for their loving care.
The funeral service will be held at 2PM Saturday, August 29 at Ramah Presbyterian Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will follow in the church fellowship hall.
