Bobby Jack Pace's Obituary
Bobby Jack Pace, Sr., 83 of Charlotte died May 24, 2015 at his home. He was born on March 30, 1932 in Mecklenburg County to the late Lonnie and Odessa Pace. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Jack retired from Duke Energy. Jack was a faithful member of the M-T Covenant Class. In his retirement years, he loved dancing. His sense of humor and patience will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Nixon Pace; sons, Bobby Jack Pace, II and wife Donna of Matthews and Timothy Scott Pace and wife Teresa of Mint Hill; sister, Beatrice Biggers; brothers, Jimmy and Melvin Pace and granddaughter, Jessica.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove U.M.C., P.O. Box 681900., Charlotte, NC 28216 or Hospice of Charlotte, 1420 E 7th St. Charlotte, NC 28204.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, May 28 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 10-11 prior in the sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
