Brenda Anderson's Obituary
Brenda Kay Entrekin Anderson, 81, of Huntersville went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2024. She was born on August 16, 1942 in Mecklenburg County to the late Archie and Jean Entrekin.
Brenda was known for her smile, her servant's heart, her "Brenda Bread" and love for cooking, entertaining at home, and truly her love for children and the church. Her love for children and the Lord had her spend a lot of her life taking care of kids in many ways, from nurseries, VBS to Sunday Schools, and many women's Bible studies at church or her home. When she spent time alone outside with her flowers, she truly was blessed with a green thumb and loved her time taking care of them too. She will be missed by so many that knew her, and loved her, as she likely showed them love in some way too.
Survivors include her husband James "Jim" Anderson; son, Michael Anderson (Dana); daughter, Lauren Oehler (Kelly); grandchildren Sydney Dean (Bobby), Casey Oehler, Russell Anderson & Dalton Anderson and siblings Fred Entrekin, Lois Pederson (Gary).
Memorials may be made to Prosperity Presbyterian Church, 5533 Prosperity Church Rd., Charlotte, NC 28269.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 Sunday, May 19 at Prosperity Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will follow services in the gymnasium.
