Brenda Kay Wittig's Obituary
Brenda Kay Wittig, age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her children on Thursday, October 26 at Novant Health Medical Center in Huntersville, North Carolina.
She was born April 8, 1947 in Southfield, Michigan to Ross and Virginia (Rundorff) Fleury. She was a graduate of Michigan State University and worked as a teacher for over 35 years achieving her Masters in teaching at the midpoint in her career. Some of her favorite times were going out with her girlfriends, watching her grandchildren play, cuddling with her cat while having cappuccino and watching television and being with her family. She was known for her kindness, wit and unconditional love.
She is survived by her brothers, Ross (Denise) Fleury, Brent (Barbara) Fleury; sister, Lynn Boyd; son, Michael Wittig; daughter, Katie (Joe) Musser; nephews, Kevin, Gary, Ross and Ryan; niece, Michelle; grandchildren, Lillian and Cohen. Family, friends and others whose lives Brenda touched are invited to honor her life next July in Traverse City, MI.
