Bryant "Eddie" McGee's Obituary
Bryant Edward "Eddie" McGee of Huntersville, passed March 1, 2013 at his home. He was a 1974 graduate of Mooresville Senior High School. Before his retirement he was employed at Freightliner TMP, Mt. Holly, N.C. He shared a love of classic cars, drag racing, and motorcycle riding through the years with many cherished friends. He was an avid pool player and played on several local pool teams.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Carver McGee. He is survived by his father, Herman Smith McGee, his wife Ava “Susie” Suddreth McGee, daughter Shasta Shaw Black and husband Kenny of Huntersville, sister, Marlene McGee Lyerly of Stony Point,NC brother Ronald Wayne McGee of Canton, Ohio, brother in law Jerry Suddreth (Renota) of Huntersville, granddaughters, Hailey, Ashley and Taylor Black, neices Megan Lyerly and Brittaney Suddreth Coleman and nephews C.W. McGee and Justin Suddreth as well cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A memorial service will be held Monday, March 4, 2013 at 4pm in the chapel of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville, NC with Kelly Parker officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Norman.
