Calvin Wayne Campo's Obituary
Calvin Wayne Campo, 70, of Maiden, NC passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on November 1, 1945 in Mint Hill, NC and was the son of the late J. R. and Ellamae Day Campo. He was owner and operator of the Variety Barn furniture store in Denver, NC and a guitar picker with the Country Choice Band.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Burleyson Campo; a son, Rodney Dale Campo and wife Wendy of Denver, NC; three daughters, Cindy Sharon Campo, Sandra Jean Campo and husband Gary, and Patty Louise Herron and husband David, all of Denver; two sisters, Brenda Fisher and Pam Blackwell; two brothers, Marshall Elvert Campo and Billy Campo; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Charlotte, NC.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday, March 22, 2016, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at James Funeral Home.
