Carla Wallace's Obituary
Carla Rene Adams Wallace, 64, of Concord went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2024. She was born in St. Louis, MO on September 21, 1959 to the late Kenneth W. Adams and Tommie L. Adams.
Carla, known to many as LaLa, was a strong woman who loved her family very deeply. She was a dedicated friend, mother, and spouse who had a love for animals and her slot machines. She was fiercely protected and fought a hard, secret battle for over 4 years. As a strong, independent woman, she leaves a great legacy with her family and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her husband Michael Wallace; daughters, Lindsey Van Wingerden and husband Thomas (and their children, Thomas, Ellie and Grayson); Christina "Chrissy" Wallace; and son, Matthew Wallace and his wife Sara Wallace (and their child Blakely); and siblings, Kenneth W. Adams, Jr. and son Kenneth W. Adams III, daughters Jennifer Adams and Mechella Adams. Sisters Claudia McClellan and husband Larry McClellan (son Larry McClellan Jr). And Rosalyn Daegele and husband Kenneth Daegele (daughter Kimberly Daegele and son Kenneth W. Daegele II (deceased).
She is preceded in death by her son Michael S. Wallace, Jr.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 Saturday, January 27 at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius. Visitation will immediately follow the service. The service will be live-streamed at http://live.gracecovenant.org/
She will be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Afton, MO, with visitation Monday, January 29 at Schrader Funeral Home. Burial service will be held Tuesday.
