Mrs. Carol Hammill was more than just a friend to me she was more like my granny. I am so blessed to be able to spend so many holidays and cherish so many precious moments with her. Sharing my days and nights with her as her caregiver was amazing because we shared so many wonderful moments together. I thank God for even allowing me to be there with her during her transition. I will never forget the night before she went home to be with the lord she held my hand so tight I kissed her on her forehead before leaving to go home and every night when my shift ended she always told me she loved me and my daughters before going to bed. She brightened up my day and nights even when I faced life challenges. I will definitely miss her but she will forever be in my heart. She was heaven sent she gave me a reason to wake up every morning and go to a job that I love.
