Caroleen Ferrell's Obituary
Caroleen Elliott Ferrell, 96, passed away peacefully at Brookdale, Morehead City, NC on October 16, 2025. She was born in Charlotte on February 5, 1929 to Lloyd and Ashland Love Elliott.
Caroleen graduated from Paw Creek High School and retired from Duke Power after 30 years of service.
She was always thinking of others and their needs.
She had a love of making flower arrangements and working with the flowers she planted in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Bobby Ferrell
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Ashland Love Elliott and brother Grover Elliott.
Survivors include her sister, Sybil Willis and husband Danny, of Morehead City, NC and brother, Emery Elliott and wife Shelba of West Jefferson, NC as well as nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 22 at Northlake Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Hill to officiate.
The family would like to thank the staff of Brookdale Senior Living, Morehead City, NC for the love and care they gave Caroleen the three years she lived there. Brookdale truly became her home and they became a big part of her family.
