Caroline Caldwell Williams' Obituary
Caroline May Caldwell Williams, 77, of Charlotte died June 10, 2025. She was born on May 18, 1948 in Mecklenburg County to the late Augustus and Ruby Caldwell.
Caroline loved spending time with her many grandchildren, reading, quilting, traveling with her friends, and watching Nascar racing after church every Sunday.
Survivors include her sons, Carl Williams (Candy) of Lincolnton and Terry Williams (Esther) of Bailey; daughters, Sherry Griffin (Wayne) of Charlotte and Debbie Meggs (Curtis) of Indian Trail; brother, Calvin Caldwell and numerous grandchildren. Her husband Milton Carl Williams, Jr. preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, June 16 at Mallard Creek Presbyterian with burial to follow at Back Creek A.R.P. Church. Visitation will be 10-11 AM prior in the sanctuary at Mallard Creek.
