Carrie Robinson's Obituary
Carrie Lynn Stammel Robinson, 39, of Huntersville, passed away January 28, 2011 at Levine Dickson Hospice House. She was born on July 27, 1971 in Norwalk, CT to Charles Stammel and Dale Stammel. She graduated from Joel Barlow High School (Redding, CT) and Western Connecticut State University. In addition to her devotion to her family, Carrie was very active in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life as captain of The Robinson’s Superheroes Team. She was also an active member of DUMC Christian Mothers United and treasured the relationships and support of that group. Carrie was an outstanding teacher and a devoted mother.
She is survived by her loving husband and true companion of 22 years, Richard (Rich) Earl Robinson; sons, Connor and Ryan of the home; and sister, Corinne Demmien of Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Davidson United Methodist Church, PO Box 718, Davidson, NC 28036 or to a Scholarship Fund for her children c/o First Citizens Bank, 16800 Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.
A memorial service will be held at 5 PM Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Davidson United Methodist Church with Rev. Jody Seymour officiating. Visitation will follow at the church.
