My favorite memory of Aunt Cary was a dessert she made for us as children. It simply consisted of lime sherbet topped with ginger ale served in a parfait glass. It became our family tradition which we named "Aunt Cary Special". I continued to serve it to my children and grandchildren, and enjoy it to this day.
My finest memory of Aunt Cary, was her dessert she made is one summer. I was probably around 12 years old. It was lime sherbet in a parfait glass topped with ginger ale. My family fondly named it "Aunt Cary Special", and continued to fix and enjoy this dessert into our adulthood. It's now in its third generation, sharing it with my children and grandchildren.
