Catherine Derespinis' Obituary
Catherine Derespinis, 92, of Huntersville, died on June 6, 2021. She was born on September 16, 1928, in Bronx, NY to the late Joseph and Theresa Mecca.
Catherine was a hard worker and a dedicated wife and mother, she enjoyed cooking but her passion was reading, she always said it was like taking many vacations.
He favorite motto was "No sense of complaining, no one is listening" she would make us all laugh.
In addition to her parents, Catherine is predeceased by her husband, Guido Derespinis; son, John Derespinis; and brother, Frank Mecca.
Catherine is survived by her son, Joe Derespinis (Lisa); daughters, Victoria Manischewitz (Michael) and Theresa Summa (Sal); grandchildren, Marc, Jacline, Victoria, Neil, Lisa, Cristina, and Taylor; and sister, Joanne.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
