Cecilia Rosado Badillo's Obituary
Cecilia Rosado Badillo was born on February 16, 1928 to Mr. Juan Badillo and Mrs. Maria Crespo. She was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico at the city of Aguada. Cecilia was born into a farming family, whole sales distributor owner and town administrator. Cecilia was one among fourteen siblings. From a young age, she began to help others and her siblings at home. Early in 1950, her mom sent her on a vacation to visit one of her older brothers at New York City, New York. A couple of weeks later, she encountered Mr. Cirilo Rosado who had been her beau three years prior. They were married on October 21, 1950.
From a very early age Cecilia taught her children to love God, love their family, to always keep together, and to try to obtain the best education possible. She always cared for her husband and children as a stay at home mom. She read the Bible, and read and taught Bible stories to her children each night prior to going to bed. She instilled high standards, moral values, and strong character traits in her children.
Cecilia was Cirilo's perfect counterpart, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. She was unconditionally present for her husband of almost 67 years. She loved and protected her children, and her home's doors were open to all. From this blessed marriage she had four children, many grandchildren, and great grandkids, a big family. Living an exemplary life for her family, she now has gone to rest with the Lord. She awaits the great day when the Lord will call His children to His presence and He will say, "Well done, you were faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things; enter into the joy of your Lord". (Matthew 25:21)
She is survived by her husband Cirilo Rosado, and her sons Cirilo Rosado Jr., and Joel Rosado, and her daughters Noemi Quinones-Rosado and Raquel Maldonado-Rosado and their repetitive grandchildren and great grand children.
