Merry Christmas my friend 🎄🙏💜
Chad hard to believe you’re gone. I haven’t seen you in a few years. I have some great memories with you and your family. I got to know you,Carrie and your Kids. I know you will be missed. We had a lot of fun cooking, Bowling and just hanging out at the pool. I will miss you big guy. RIP.

Some memories I have about my buddy Chad.
To begin, I want to send my condolences to Chad's family and friends.
Having known Chad for twenty-five plus years I find it impossible to sum up
the memories I have of him in a few paragraphs. As for trying to describe
to someone who didn't know Chad in just a few words is just as difficult. He was such a mixed bag of descriptive words...confident, out going, friendly, bold, funny, successful, focused to name a few and for some, other words
that are less than flattering. Regardless of Chad's flaws/accomplishments,
he was my friend and I'm struggling referring to him in the past tense.
One of my first and lasting memories of Chad was when I was working
at Carvers Creek with Carrie and Chad showed up just before closing.
Carrie was the late closer at the restaurant that night. With some time to
kill, Chad and I walked to the restaurant next door when I saw Chad do
something I could never do...Karaoke! I believe he sang a James Taylor
song and nailed it. I thought to myself it takes a lot of courage to get up in
front of a room full of strangers and sing that well. I was very impressed.
Chad always had a new joke or two to share with me. Not sure if this is
true or not, but Chad seemed to use his speech impairment to his
advantage when telling jokes, like right before delivering the punch line.
The anticipation drove me crazy and then he hits it and I would just start
rolling with laughter, so funny! Definitely going to miss his joking and
punch line delivery.
Although I haven't seen Chad very often over the last few years, when
I did get to spend some time with him, we would pick up where we left off,
like we had seen each other the day before. Old friends are a finite
resource and I will truly miss my buddy Chad.
