Charles Christopher's Obituary
Charles Christopher, affectionately known as “Bulldog,” on his CB mic, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, joining his beloved wife Judith Christopher, two daughters Teressa Chrisopher and Tina Haynes, and son Charles Christopher Jr. in eternal rest. Born on June 24, 1942, Charles was a devoted family man, known for his warm heart, strength, and loyalty to those he loved.
There is so much to say about a man, more than any obituary can contain, but to simplify it, Charles Christopher loved many and was loved by many. Charles was a native of the mountains of North Carolina, often you could find him tapping his toes to words of any golden oldie on, and in younger days kicking his rocking chair on his porch to the songs of any Johnny Cash. He was proud of his work, of his children and grandchildren, all of whom he spoke highly of, first on his porch, which he loved, and then in his daughter’s living room, whom he loved. He was always quick to offer any assistance first in the form of money or MO as he called it, and then always in the form of love or LO.
Charles is survived by his two daughters, Tammy Hinson and Darlene Hartsock; an older sister Evelyn; and his cherished grandchildren, Charles Hinson, Robert Hinson, Johnathan Hartsock, Angie Hartsock, Ronson Shultz, Toni Carter, and Jacob Shultz, and ten great grandchildren.
The family will be holding a memorial service to celebrate Charles’ life on Friday March 14th 2025.
