Charles Preston Long's Obituary
Charles Preston Long, 82, of Lincolnton died February 5, 2023. He was born on January 25, 1941 in Gaston County to the late Todd and Frances Long.
Survivors include his wife Virginia Reames Long; daughter, Susan Long Shenk and husband Brian of Charlotte; brother, Neal Todd Long of Claremont, NC; and grandchildren, Rebecca Grace Shenk and Kelly Anne Shenk. His brother James Clifford Long preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to Denver Baptist Church, P.O. Box 383, Denver, NC 28037.
A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, February 11 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery (4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208) with Patrick Lowman officiating.
