Charles "C. B." Bennett Martin's Obituary
Charles Bennett “C.B.” Martin, Jr. 77 of Charlotte died January 15, 2021. He was born in Statesville, NC on October 4, 1943 to the late Charles and Cora Martin. C.B. was president of P.C. Godfrey, Inc. in Charlotte and was a member of The Pointe Church in Belmont.
Survivors include his wife Vickie Martin; daughters, Christine Bannerman and husband John and Amanda Maer and husband Damon; step-sons, Brian Spears and wife Mary and Brent Spears and wife Kristie; siblings, Winifred Helton and Connie Johnson and husband Mike; grandchildren, Brooke Spears, Cora Maer, Emily Bannerman, Grace Spears, and Brayden Spears.
Memorials may be made to The Pointe Church, P.O. Box 908 Belmont, NC 28012.
A private graveside service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, February 6 at Forest Lawn-West. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/JamesFuneralHome/ The family requests that for those in attendance, please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
