Charles Pearce's Obituary
Charles Eric "Rick" Pearce, 66, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2013 at the Harris Hospice Unit at Presbyterian Hospital. He was born on June 21, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of the late Bert and Marjorie Pearce.
A beloved husband, father, and Pop Pop, Rick leaves behind his wife of forty-three years Trudy Pearce; sons, Eric Pearce and wife Sonya of Charlotte and Brian Pearce and wife Caroline of Greensboro; grandchildren Ella, Charlie, Keller, and Grace; brothers Lawrence Pearce and James Pearce, and sister Mary Ann Koch.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 11 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Davidson. A reception honoring Rick's life will be held at 4:30 PM Friday at the Highland Creek Sports Club, 6616 Clarke Creek Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28269.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Autism Unbound, P.O. Box 41166 Greensboro, NC 27404.
