Charles Stephens' Obituary
Charles William Stephens, 79 of Huntersville died October 25, 2020. He was born on May 4, 1941 in Mecklenburg County to the late William and Mary Stephens. He was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church and worked for many years as a plumber for the company he owned.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Gibson Stephens; son Dwayne Stephens and wife Teri of Huntersville; daughter, Cheryl Laforce of Charlotte; step-son, Dale Barr of Gastonia; step-daughters, Stephanie Coble of Catawba and Patricia Vanhoy of Iron Station; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lake Norman, 705 Griffith St. Suite 203 Davidson, NC 28036.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, October 28 at James Funeral Home. Viewing will be 11-12:00 prior at James Funeral Home.
