Charmaine Gibson's Obituary
Charmaine Austin Gibson, 84, of Mooresville, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2024 at her home. She was born on February 9, 1940 in Mecklenburg County to the late Fred and Mavis Austin. She was a loving wife and mother who will be greatly missed. She was a devoted teacher, retiring from Long Creek Elementary after many years of service.
She is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) J. Gibson, Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Paige Gibson of Mooresville; daughter-in-law, Kim Gibson of Kannapolis and granddaughter, Leslie; and siblings Larry, Jackie and Freida.
She was preceded in death by son, Curt.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 Thursday, May 2 at Northlake Memorial Gardens with Dr. Charles Howell officiating.
