Chris David Boswell's Obituary
Chris David Boswell, 54, of Cornelius, NC passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on October 24, 1961 in Newport News, VA, but was raised in Tampa, FL. Formally of Orlando, FL he was employed with Longs Christian Books, Lifeway Book Store, Walden Books and managed the book store at First Presbyterian Church in Orlando. Most recently he was employed with IKEA of Charlotte since their opening in 2008. He was a member at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Cornelius where he taught Middle School Sunday school and oversaw the church library. He was an avid sports fan, loved photography and enjoyed all subjects on history and space.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Knappenberger Boswell; son, Christopher David Boswell, Jr. of Cornelius; mother, Angela Tamdoo of Tampa, Fl; brother, Alex Boswell and wife Emmanuella, and their son, Eric Boswell of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Boswell
A Memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, December, 5, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Cornelius, NC with Dr. Bill Cain officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, in church Family Life Center. Burial will be private.
