John & Pat Mcmahon
Pat and I were saddened to learn of Chris's passing. Our sincere condolences and prayers are offered to all his family at this sad time.
Chris was my first-cousin once removed. Chris's Dad, Dale, was my first cousin. Dale and I grew up together in the Charlotte area in the 60's. My Aunt Madelyn (Dale's mother) and her sister, my mother Violet, were always involved in our many family activities while we were growing up along with my other cousins and aunts and uncles both in the Charlotte and Rock Hill and surrounding areas.
I remember Chris especially in the later years at the family reunions usually held at Richard and Linda Wallace's home. Chris was jovial and always had a smile on his face. Although I didn't get to see him very often except at the family reunions, it didn't take long to get into some good conversations with him.
Mere words can't always soothe the sadness you feel at this time or the emptiness you all feel. Pat and I pray that the Grace and Peace that passes all our understanding from our Heavenly Father give you comfort in due time. May the cherished memories you have of Chris and the many accomplishments he made and the lives he touched through his volunteer service be a legacy that all will remember and give some comfort to those that are grieving.
In Christian love,
Pat & John McMahon
