Claire St. Onge's Obituary
Claire Marie (Othling) St. Onge, 59 of Charlotte, passed away peacefully in her home on November 19, 2019. She was born on March 2, 1960 at Travis Air Force Base in California to Helen M. Othling and the late Col. William L. Othling, Jr.
Claire grew up in a military family in Dayton, Ohio. She is a graduate of Fort Hunt H.S. in Alexandria, VA and she earned her Business Degree from James Madison University, VA in 1982. After relocating to the Charlotte area, Claire worked for several retail, engineering and financial institutions. Claire is a Christian, having professed her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a dedicated wife, daughter, sister and employee. She was a passionate and fun-loving person and a dedicated friend to many. Claire was a truly beautiful person with a big heart who always gave to others so much more than she ever let herself receive. She adored her cats and the Carolina Panthers and was a strong and vocal advocate for prostate cancer research. She regularly volunteered her time at local pet rescue facilities. Claire greatly enjoyed her position and her many friends at Brighthouse Financial and the camaraderie and welcome she received from her friends at Brixx Pizza.
Claire is survived by her husband Jerry St. Onge from Charlotte, her mother Helen from Charlotte and her brothers, Stephen from Albuquerque, NM, David from Baton Rouge, LA and her beloved cats, Coco and Chanel.
A graveside service will be held at Northlake Memorial Gardens on December 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
