Claude Dills' Obituary
Claude Lyndon Dills of Huntersville passed away December 11, 2016. He was born in Jackson County, NC on December 9, 1939 to Jesse and Gracie Dills. After graduating from Cullowhee High School in 1957, he served in the US Air Force for 4 years. Claude worked at the Celanese Corporation in Charlotte for over 30 years. In retirement, Claude volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and served as election Chief Judge for Huntersville Precinct 207.
Survivors include his wife Joyce Parris Dills; daughter, Vicki of Charlotte; son, Chad and wife Lyn of Apex; granddaughter Jordan of Charlotte; sisters, Marie Smith, Juanita Greer, Dorris Beck, Alma Shuford and Frankie Reynolds; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Grady, Pauline, Jesse Ramsey, and Harold Ray.

The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Friday, December 16 at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr, Huntersville NC. The funeral service will be held at 2PM Saturday at Huntersville First Baptist Church, 119 N Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville NC, with burial to follow.
