Colburn "Brooks" Price's Obituary
Mr. Colburn B. “Brooks” Price, 81, of Columbus, OH, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017.
Brooks was a native of Portsmouth, Ohio, one of nine children to Joseph Harold and Clara Irene Born Price. Brooks served our country in the armed forces during the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver and spent twenty years in Arizona. Brooks enjoyed riding motorcycles, listening to jazz music, watching sports, especially football and baseball, and most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Brooks J. Price, and a daughter, Karisa Price.
Mr. Price is survived by his children; Steven Queen (Tammy), Sherry King, Diana Thompson (James), Sean Price, Katherine Price, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, numerous extended family, and special friends; Mike Burns and Diane Savedra (Bobby).
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Burnzie’s Old Trail, 72 S. Grener Ave., Columbus, OH 43228.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the A.D. Foundation for Alzheimer’s, 1055 South Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.
