Corbett "CE" Holt's Obituary
Corbett Efird “C.E.” Holt, 89, of Cornelius, went home to be with his Lord August 29, 2012 at his home. He was born on September 3, 1922 in Stanley County to the late Stellar Vance and Lottie Efird Holt. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII and worked as a medic in England and Germany. C.E. founded, owned and operated C.E. Holt Refrigeration in Charlotte. He was a very active member of the Gideons for many years and was active as Sunday School Superintendent and Lay Leader of Homestead and Huntersville UMC. He always knew how to make people smile.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years Helen Pinion Holt; sons, Derrick Holt and wife Anne of Charlotte and Jeffrey Holt and wife Pat of Huntersville; brothers, Don of Charlotte and Carroll of Virginia; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Lake Norman for their love and care.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Huntersville United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 12:30-2 prior at the church. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn West.
