Nellie, Donna, and Danny my heart is so broken. Gene embodied one of the greatest commandments our Lord gave us which was ‘thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself’. I will never forget all of the hospitality and generosity you guys have shown to me and my family over the years. Gene leaves behind such a rich heritage of honor and love that will impact generations to come. Most of all he leaves behind his humor and wit that will always live on in the hearts of each of us who called him friend.
