Curtis D. Freeman's Obituary
Curtis Delano Freeman,86, of Huntersville died December 14, 2024. He was born in Laurinburg NC to Samuel and Bertha Freeman.
Curtis came to Charlotte in 1958 where he met the love of his Barbara. They were married in 1958, and became parents to two sons, Miles and Mark.
Curtis retired in 2008, after nearly 50 years in the petroleum and industrial industry. He is survived by his sons, Miles of Lexington, SC and Mark of Concord, NC; grandson, Joshua Freeman; great grandchildren, Aubree, River and Grayson; brother, Wayne Freeman, of Florence, SC; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Curtis was active in the church and spent much time in ministries, teaching and conferences from an early age. In late 1998, he began working with a mission in West Virgina which identified all the faith, trust and love Curtis had grown to understand.
Services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Huntersville. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and the funeral at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
