Dana Lempp's Obituary
Dana Marie Lempp, 35, of Cornelius, N.C. made her journey home to our heavenly father on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
Born to Don and Linda (Jenkins) Lempp on January 5, 1988, in Corpus Christi, qualified Dana as a ‘true Texan’. True to her Texas roots, Dana’s approach to life was big ~ Her energy, spirit, drive and talents were all big, but nothing could compare to the size of her enormous heart. Dana’s ability to see the best in all of us, along with her willingness to help any of us, evidenced a heart larger and deeper than most. Even upon her passing, Dana’s drive to help continued through tissue/organ donation. Dana’s essence though, her feistiness, intelligence, wit and ‘can-do’ spirit made its imprint on each of her adoring children, Nicholas, Laila and Grayson, and it will live on through all of them.
The only daughter in a house full of sons, Dana cherished and celebrated each of her three brothers, Shane, Jason and Anthony. Their bond was a strong, enduring connection that made their multiple military moves throughout her childhood, feel adventurous, rather than scary. The recent losses of both Jason and Anthony introduced a level of grief no sister should ever have to face.
In addition to her parents and children, Dana is survived by her brother, Shane Lempp, her cousin/sister, Jolene Jenkins, grandmother, Billie Taddei, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherish her enormous heart and big spirit.
