David Cundiff's Obituary
David Lee Cundiff, 75, formerly of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on January 22, 2023 and entered into a nearer presence with God.
David was born on March 20, 1947 to the late Ethel and Joseph Cundiff II. David was a loving husband, father and brother. A man of strong faith, he found membership in the house of God no matter where he lived. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps, a boy scout and Scout Master where he led his two sons to become Eagle Scouts, and a lifelong Yankees fan.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pil Son Cundiff; their children, Jacob Cundiff, Joseph Cundiff IV, and Sarah Cundiff; and his brother, Joseph Cundiff III (Carolyn).
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 5:00 PM at James Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC and the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 3:00 PM at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Mooresville, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paws for Purple Hearts (pawsforpurplehearts.org) or the Bison Conservation and Transfer Program (yellowstone.org/bison-conservation/).
