David Hodgin's Obituary
David Newlin Hodgin, Jr., 70, of Concord went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 4, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 20, 1954 in Guilford County. David was the son of the late David and Helen Hodgin. David graduated from South East Guildford High School and went on the earn a degree in industrial engineering. He worked as a purchasing agent in the building supply industry for many years. He loved the Lord and music. He faithfully served the church throughout the years as an elder and deacon. Most of all he enjoyed singing in the church choir.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; son Wesley and wife Angela Griffin of Columbia, SC; daughter, Jennie Stading and husband Michael of Mint Hill; siblings, Bill Hodgin (& wife, Susan) and Patsy Pringle (& husband, Jay); and grandchildren, Jack, Helen, Julia, Elise, Henry and Ike.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church Chapel Legacy Campus, 420 Hopewell Church Road, on Saturday, October 12 at 2 pm.
