David Melin's Obituary
David Scott Melin, 43 of Huntersville died February 1, 2019. He was born on February 2, 1975 in Waukesha Co., WI to Kenneth Melin and the late Dolores Melin.
He received a BA in Political Science and Behavioral Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Dave then went on to UNC Chapel Hill School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree.
Dave enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved spending time in Y-Guides with his daughters. He enjoyed college football, the beach, and politics.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife Michelle; daughters, Reagan and Jenna; his brother Steve and wife Brittany, their sons, Brody and Chase of Fletcher, NC. Aunt Patricia and Uncle Larry Rayburn of West Lafayette, Indiana, Aunt Betty and Uncle Milton Feather of Greensboro, NC, Uncle Ed and Aunt Beverly Melin of Sac City, Iowa.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2pm Sunday, February 10 in the chapel of James Funeral Home. Visitation will follow in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted at Suntrust Bank for Reagan and Jenna.
