Tally and I just heard about Dave's passing. We knew each other early on when we both worked at St. Charles Manufacturing in Illinois. Later we worked at Kewaunee and that lasted until my departure in 2011.
I will always remember his smile and soft spoken command of the detailed machinery that makes up any modern company. May he always find peace in his infinite journey

I worked with Dave at Kewaunee for 8 years. He was a sweet man and always had a smile on his face. He always was very kind to me. My greatest condolences to his family.
As Carolina Farm Trust and Carolina Jubilee was in its infancy, Dave was one of the first people I met and not only became one of our first Corporate partners but spend time with advising me on all the questions I had for him about growing an organization. Lucky to have know him and will cherish the dinners we had talking about business and life.
I first met Dave, twelve years back while we were building an engineering team in Bangalore to support the projects managed by him in Statesville. After Dave became the COO and later CEO the frequency of our interaction grew, and we would talk almost every alternate day. Outside of work, we had developed a bond and I had come to consider him a dear friend. Dave was an Efficient Manager, Empathetic Leader, and a Wonderful Human Being. During our many visits to Middle Eastern and Asian countries along with building the business, we built trust and brotherhood to an extent of being each other’s confidant. The Dave I knew, never shied away from responsibility, never hesitated to apologize when he made a mistake, never let an opportunity pass to affirm and encourage others. I will always cherish the memories Dave and I shared. I have lost a friend and miss him dearly, May his soul Rest in Peace.

So sad that Dave did not have more time to enjoy life. I, too, worked with Dave at Kewaunee and I tear Ted with him in a variety of roles. I probably enjoyed chatting with him more in a personal setting than a professional situation! I say that because he had a great sense of humor that he suppressed in his professional persona! Condolences to his family, and to Betsy, as well.
My sincerest condolences to his family! Dave and I worked together at Kewaunee for almost 20 years. In our positions in credit/collections and project management, we collaborated on many problem accounts. He was a hard worker, but had a fun side too. Being the same age, Dave and I had many discussions about the similarities in our upbringings, favorite travel destinations, and our mutual appreciation of good food and wine. He will be missed!
