Diana Bartlett's Obituary
Diana Lynn Bartlett, 61, of Davidson, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2021 after an arduous battle with ALS.
Diana was born on September 30, 1959, in Jackson County, Missouri, to the late Bennie Davis and Carol Quigley. She graduated from Smithton R-VI in 1978 and completed the Licensed Practical Nursing program at State Fair Community College in 1987, which led to her career in nursing.
Diana was a loving mother and grandmother who was affectionately known as “Gigi” to her youngest granddaughters. She loved the Lord and always found enjoyment from her visits to church. She enjoyed baking goodies to satisfy her admitted “sweet tooth” and she always shared with her neighbors. She was an avid lover of puzzles and completed word searches to pass the time; though you could often find her indulging in the latest Hallmark or Lifetime movies as well!
While Diana was a lady of few words, if you knew her, you are quite aware of how sweet and caring she truly was. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Rose (Matthew) of Davidson, NC; son, Derek Bartlett (Joi) of Kalispell, MT; grandchildren, Harper, Margaret and Olivia; sister, Laura Hart of Springfield, MO and brother, Dean Davis of Washington.
Family will have private services.
Memorials may be made to the ALS Association in her honor.
