I remember her well. She lived down the block on 68th in Brooklyn. We were in many grades together. She was ALWAYS cheerful and friendly. I had a crush on her for a long time. Her dad always said hello to me and the other kids on the block. We all called him Cappy. I believe the last time I spoke with her was not long after high school ended and she had a job in NYC. I remember her talking about the IBM electric typewriter. She was so excited about it and hiw easy it was for her to use.
I was doing my lenten meditation about the gifts in my life and she came to mind. I can see her beautiful smiling face in my mind. I looked up her name on the internet and tears came out of me. She passed on to Heaven smong the angels of God. I said a prayer for her. I see dshe had a full and blessed life. As I write this I aam sad she is missed by gher family.
