Diana J. Wolff's Obituary
Mrs. Diana Joan Wolff, 85, of Huntersville, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2022.
Diana was a native of Tinley Park, Illinois, and raised her family in La Grange Park, Illinois. She moved to North Carolina in 2022 to be near her beloved grandsons.
Diana was a graduate of Syracuse University and had a career in public relations in New York City before settling down to raise a family in the Chicago suburbs with her husband Arnold. Diana was active in the Junior Women’s Club and in leading extracurricular activities for her three sons. She enjoyed movies, gardening, British TV shows, reading, spoiling her cats, and most of all caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Helen Glahn, and husband, Sidney Arnold Wolff.
Diana is survived by her children; Greg of Third Lake, IL, Steve of Riverside, IL, Jeff of Huntersville, NC, and grandchildren; Stephanie, Nicole, Gabriel, Christopher; brother, Jim of Jamestown, KY; Sister-in-Law Susan of Winston-Salem, NC; Cousin Rosemary Powell of Wheaton, IL; and many other loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5 in the chapel of The First United Methodist Church of La Grange. Following the services, the family will receive friends until 11:00 a.m. in the church’s fellowship hall, before a private interment beside Arnold at Orland Memorial Park Cemetery.
