Dianne Sherrill's Obituary
Dianne West Sherrill, 66, of Huntersville, NC passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Novant-Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville.
She was born on December 28, 1949 in Rutherford County, NC and was the daughter of the late James Alvin West. She was retired with over 20 years of employment with Wachovia Bank of Charlotte. She was owner and operator of a day care business; loved directing, catering and planning weddings; enjoyed traveling and camping; and was a member of East Belmont Church of God.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, James William Sherrill of Huntersville; mother, Pinkie Coggins of Cabarrus, Co; son, John Sherrill and wife Sherry of Cramerton; daughter, Jeanna Sherrill Spiker and husband Patrick of Cherryville; two sisters, Wanda Hightower of Chapin, SC and Debi Cole of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Katie and Cody Spiker, Danielle Day, Brianna Sherrill and Sean Brabham. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Diane Day.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at 7:30 PM at East Belmont Church of God in Belmont, NC. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM prior to the service at the church.
