Donald Lynch, 58, of Huntersville and Oak Island, NC, died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. He was born on January 25, 1955 in Mooresville, NC and was the son of the Shirley Bolick Ly Read Obituary

I met Donald when he came into my place of employment for a pair of prescription sunglasses for fishing. I felt like I knew him all my life. We talked just like we had been friends forever and that was in 2008. He would come in to have them adjusted and we would talk about fishing. I just found out yesterday that Donald had past away. I am so sorry for your loss and for our loss as well. He was a wonderful person. My prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4 states “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. I am so sorry to hear of Donald's passing. I knew Donald as well as Dale and I thought the world of both. I also have a home at Oak Island and seen Donald from time to time either fishing or he would stop by for awhile. I also knew him through my business at Lucia ( Hoyle's #5), he would come over on saturdays or Sundays for a visit, he will surely be missed. One Sunday he and Dale came in and had a coconut cake for me, I think his mother had made it. My favorite and it was delicious. Again he will be truly missed by all who knew him.
