Donald Price's Obituary
Donald William Price, 73, of Huntersville passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Don was born in Hickory, NC and moved to Charlotte, NC when he was 10 years old. He moved to Huntersville, his wife’s hometown, a few years before his retirement. Don was a Journeyman Electrician for over 30 years and retired from LS Williams Electric Company, Inc. in 2016. He was also a Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Horne during the Vietnam era. Don was a voracious reader, an avid gardener, and a gem and mineral enthusiast. He also loved music, particularly Blues, Classic Rock and Roll, and Jazz. Most of all, Don loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, William Price, and his brother, Thomas Price.
Don is survived by his wife of 48 years, April Price, their children; Eric Price (Marina) of Miami Beach, FL, Evan Price (Stephenie) of Raleigh, NC, grandchildren: Nova, Arbor, Rex, Thomas, Erro; : his mother, Pauline Price of Gastonia, NC, sisters, Kathi Morton (Eddie) of Gastonia, NC and Janet Gray (Jeff) of Mansfield, OH and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 25,2024 at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078. A Celebration of Donald’s life will be held at 11 a.m.
