Donnelly Sherrill Sr.'s Obituary
Donnelly T. Sherrill, Sr., 93, of Cornelius died September 1, 2025 at his home. He was born on April 29, 1932 in Mecklenburg County to the late Thomas and Lena Sherrill.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis Sloop Sherrill; son, Donnelly T. Sherrill, Jr. “Donnie” of Indian Trail; daughters, Kimberly Sherrill of Cornelius and Toni Sherrill Bruch of Mooresville; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Sunday, September 7 from 2-4 PM at James Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, September 8 at Mt. Zion https://U.MC. with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion U.M.C.
